The Shaman of Art is an original black and white photograph representing the renowned German contemporary artist Joseph Beuys, with his typical felt hat and his hunter jacket, knelt down immersed in nature. This photo was very likely realized after 1972, with no doubt by Buby Durini.
In excellent conditions.
On the back, there are two black stamps "Foto Buby Durini" and "Lucrezia De Domizio" with all the contact details (address, telephone number).
Background:
Invited by the spouses Lucrezia De Domizio and Buby Durini, Joseph Beuys arrived in Bolognano (Pescara) in 1972.
Here, he carried out a series of artistic activities, including the foundation of the Institute for the Rebirth of Agriculture (1976), the creation of the Paradise Plantation with the planting of 7000 plants for the restoration of biodiversity (1982), and the work Olivestone (1984). In 1984, he became an honorary citizen of Bolognano.
